The successful applicant will be answerable to the manager.Hours: with 1⁄2 hour lunch break.
(+ require flexibility to work extra hours when required)General requirements:Fit and healthy (on your feet all day and lifting involved)Neat andtidy appearanceHave a 'team' attitudeAbility to follow procedures at all timesStationery knowledge advantageousMust be computer competentDuties will include: (but are not restricted to)Customer Service (phone small list of customers every month)Relief delivery driver & deliver urgent orders to customers when requiredPick customer orders displaying a sense of urgency while maintaining a high level of accuracyHandle incoming supplier orders - check off accurately and put away in correct bin locationsFollow procedures at all timesFollow instructions given by managerAssist with building furniture and chairsMaintain a clean and safe warehouse on a daily basis (cleaning and sweeping)Maintain accurate bin locations of stockCarry out regular stock level checksAttend to walk-in customersTake phone enquiries/orders when requiredIdeally, the successful applicant will have the flexibility to work extra hours when other staff members are on leave.
