LGC Traffic Management
is seeking qualified Casual Traffic Controllers to join our growing Wheatbelt team.
We have opportunities based out of our
Northam, Narrogin and Corrigin depots
, with a variety of local and away work available across day and night shifts.
Important
Applicants must currently hold
Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM)
and
Traffic Controller (TC)
Accreditation and meet the minimum requirements listed below.

A current
National Police Clearance
is required.
Minimum Requirements
BWTM Accreditation
TC Accreditation
Construction Induction White Card
Current Driver's Licence (minimum C Class)
Current National Police Clearance
WTM and AWTM Accreditation highly regarded
Key Responsibilities
Perform all tasks associated with traffic management for works, maintenance activities and events
Control traffic using a Stop/Slow Bat and Portable Traffic Control Devices (PTCDs)
Implement and monitor Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
Complete all required site documentation accurately and on time
Monitor site safety in accordance with company policies and procedures
Load and unload vehicles with signage and traffic management equipment
Identify and report hazards, incidents and near misses
Monitor traffic behaviour and/or flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times
Follow directions from Team Leaders, Auditors and Managers
Safely control traffic, pedestrians and cyclists to protect work crews and members of the public
What We're Looking For
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
Ability to participate in random drug and alcohol testing
Availability to work flexible hours, including day and night shifts
Willingness to undertake local and away work when required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional presentation and conduct
Ability to work effectively within a team
Robust problem-solving skills
