Junior Electrical Engineer

As our Perth operations continue to expand, we are seeking a
high-calibre Junior Electrical Engineer
who has early exposure to
operating facilities
.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct technical feasibility reviews, define electrical requirements and support project scoping activities
Prepare, review and maintain electrical drawings, specifications, inspection records and engineering reports
Support testing, commissioning, verification and performance evaluation of electrical systems and equipment
Perform fault finding, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electrical failures and performance issues
Ensure compliance with electrical standards, codes, statutory, regulatory and safety requirements
Provide technical advice and engineering support to operations, maintenance and project stakeholders
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams across electrical, mechanical, integrity and operations
Develop, review and implement electrical maintenance strategies, including RCM and PM optimisation
Support maintenance planning, task optimisation, maintenance builds and spare parts criticality analysis
Utilise CMMS platforms and digital engineering tools for asset data capture, validation and lifecycle analysis
About You:
We are looking for candidates who are technically curious, resilient and comfortable operating in demanding environments:
Essential
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with
a minimum of two years
of experience as an Electrical Engineer
Working understanding of electrical systems and equipment experience
Previous exposure to engineering, maintenance, construction, commissioning or site-based roles
Willing and able to work FIFO in remote, physically demanding environments
Comfortable working around live plant, industrial equipment and operating facilities
Solid understanding of electrical systems, equipment and basic protection principles
Ability to prepare clear technical documentation and reports
Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Medically fit for site-based work and compliant with site HSE requirements
Proactive, self-motivated and able to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams
Highly Regarded
Past exposure to oil & gas facilities
Familiarity with SAP CMMS platform, Power BI, Data Analytics, Excel, SharePoint or mobile data collection tools
Understanding of asset management, maintenance strategy and reliability engineering
Prior involvement in inspections, commissioning or shutdown activities
