Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) is a fast-growing Western Australian civil and mining contractor, offering great opportunities for people looking to join a supportive and high-performing team.
Since ****, we've successfully delivered major projects for Tier 1 clients across WA and, with several new large-scale civil and mining projects commenced in early ****, we're positioned for another exciting year of growth.

The role:
We're currently seeking experienced
Drill Fitters
to join our team on a
2:1 roster
, supporting a fleet of Sandvik DPI**** and DI650 drill rigs across FIFO mining production operations.
This role suits a hands‐on fitter who's confident working autonomously in remote environments, has strong fault‐finding skills, and takes pride in maintaining safe, reliable equipment.
Breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance and servicing on Sandvik DPI**** and DI650 drill rigs
Completing major and minor repairs in line with OEM standards
FIFO work across active mine sites and varying conditions
Managing your own workload while maintaining high safety and quality standards
What we're looking for:
Australian-recognised Trade Certificate – Heavy Duty Mechanical or equivalent.




Minimum 2 years of Field Service and or Pit Breakdown experience on Drills and earthmoving mining equipment
Proven experience working in mining or heavy civil environments
Strong diagnostic and fault‐finding skills
C Class Manual Driver's Licence (
HR preferred
)
Air Conditioning Licence and High Risk Work Licence (highly regarded)
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Ability to pass pre‐employment medical, drug & alcohol screening and National Police Clearance
