About the role
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are quite the same.
You'll use your clinical expertise to provide high-quality, patient-centred nursing care while working closely with our doctors, nurses and broader general practice team.
Your role will include:
Providing comprehensive nursing care within your RN scope of practice
Applying primary healthcare principles to everyday practice
Delivering health promotion, preventative care and patient education
Supporting chronic disease management, health assessments and preventative health initiatives
Providing immunisations and assisting with clinical procedures
Using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust, confidence and positive patient experiences
Working collaboratively and providing collegial support to the nursing and broader practice team
Providing care that is respectful, inclusive and culturally safe
Managing our electronic client reminder and recall system using
Best Practice and AutoMed

What we're looking for
Mandatory
You will need:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the
Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
Experience in, and a genuine interest in, primary care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with patients from all backgrounds and demographics
A valid and clean National Police Clearance Certificate
At least one COVID-19 vaccination
⭐ Desirable
It would be great if you also have:
Completed an immunisation course
Experience in women's health, or a willingness to learn
Experience using medical software such as
Best Practice and AutoMed
Experience or demonstrated skills in:
ECGs
Preventative health education
Chronic disease management
Health assessments
Immunisations
Procedure assistance
