About the role
We are seeking a
Practice Administrator
to join ENTSA on a
casual basis
, 2-3 days per week.
This role is based in
Kent Town SA ****
and is fundamental to the smooth operation of our medical practice.
As a Practice Administrator, you will be the administrative backbone of our organisation, ensuring that our practice runs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and service delivery.
This position offers flexibility through casual work arrangements, making it ideal for those seeking variable hours.
What you'll be doing
Managing patient appointments and scheduling to optimise clinic flow and patient satisfaction
Processing patient registrations, updates and maintaining accurate records in compliance with privacy legislation
Answering and directing patient inquiries via phone, email and in person with professionalism and courtesy
Processing patient payments, invoicing and reconciling accounts
Coordinating referrals and managing correspondence with external healthcare providers
Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and data protection requirements
Supporting clinical staff by preparing patient files and ensuring necessary documentation is complete
Assisting with general administrative duties
Contributing to a welcoming and professional reception environment for all patients and visitors
What we're looking for
Previous experience in medical or healthcare administration, or demonstrated administrative experience in a customer-facing environment
Proficiency with practice management software (Gentu preferred) and Microsoft Office applications
Solid organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively




Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional telephone manner and patient engagement abilities
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, particularly with patient records and financial transactions
Understanding of privacy legislation and healthcare compliance requirements, or willingness to develop this knowledge
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Professional discretion and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
