Earn approximately $100,000 – $120,000 per annum (including penalties), based on the current structured day-shift roster (including weekends), plus super and access to salary packaging benefits.

We are seeking a calm and confident
female
Team Leader to work within an established Supported Independent Living (SIL) home.
This is a hands-on leadership role, combining direct participant support with responsibility for coordinating staff, supporting consistent practice, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

What you'll do
Lead and mentor a team of Disability Support Workers within a Supported Independent Living environment
Coordinate day-to-day supports, appointments, routines and community access
Model consistent, person-centred active support that promotes safety, choice and independence
Ensure individual support plans, care plans and risk management strategies are implemented consistently across the team
Guide and support staff to implement Behaviour Support Plans, high-intensity supports and complex health routines safely and in accordance with training and clinical guidance
Maintain clear and skilled communication with participants, families, colleagues and relevant external stakeholders
Oversee documentation, shift notes,



and incident reporting to ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance
Monitor staff compliance with training, certifications and organisational procedures, maintaining a strong culture of accountability
Participate in the shared on-call roster on a rotational basis (approximately one week in every eight), with an additional on-call allowance applicable
What you'll bring
Demonstrated experience supporting people with disability in Supported Independent Living or similar environments
Experience supporting people with complex support needs, including behaviours of concern and/or high-intensity daily supports
Confidence guiding staff to implement care plans, Behaviour Support Plans and risk management strategies safely and consistently
Understanding of participant health needs, medication routines and clinical support requirements, and when to escalate concerns
Confidence leading or guiding staff and promoting consistent practice across a team
Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
Sound understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and person-centred active support
Current (or ability to obtain) Ochre Card, Criminal History Check, NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid and CPR,



NT Driver's Licence and influenza vaccination
Relevant qualifications in Disability, Community Services or a related field (e.g. Certificate IV or Diploma) are highly regarded
