About The Role
As an Accountant you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
Monthly reporting and analysis.Journals, accruals and prepayments.Maintaining the fixed asset register.Inventory accounting.Cost allocations and balance sheet reconciliations.Supporting audits, group reporting and compliance requirements.Tax compliance including FBT schedules, income tax schedules for tax‐effect accounting.Payment times reporting.Business partnering with departments including IT, HR, Production, Digital, Circulation and Events.
About You
Ideally, you are a highly motivated and detail-oriented skilled with a genuine passion for accounting and problem-solving.
You will bring a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills and commitment to accuracy along with the following attributes:
Accounting degree and/or working towards CA/CPA completion.Experience in a finance or accounting role.Strong attention to detail and great time management.Able to manage competing deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Flexible,



proactive and team‐focused.Ability to partner with leaders across the business and maintain good relationships.
