Tasmanian Wild Seafood Adventures is looking for an enthusiastic and professional
Skipper
to join our growing team.
This position is offered as an initial
6-month contract
, with the opportunity to transition into a
permanent full-time role
for the right person.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for operating our commercial tourism vessels, delivering exceptional experiences for guests while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Our fleet includes:
16-metre commercial catamaran
12-metre commercial RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat)
No two days are the same.
You'll be involved in:
Skippering commercial tourism cruises
Interacting with guests and providing outstanding customer service
Vessel preparation before trips
Cleaning and post-trip pack-down
Assisting with routine vessel maintenance
Supporting the day-to-day operation of the business
Full training will be provided on our procedures, tour operations, and vessel-specific systems.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must hold:
Master <24 m
Certificate of Competency
MED 3
(minimum)
Current First Aid (preferred)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Current driver's licence
