About the
Prospect
The Clinical
Nurse Specialist (CNS) is responsible for contributing and
overseeing delivery of quality patient care within their area of
specialty.
The CNS works collaboratively to improve and
promote desired outcomes for patients through the development of
standards of practice, implementation of changes to clinical
practice, initiating research and quality improvement activities;
and the provision of a consultation service within their area of
expertise/assigned area to all customers within the Hospital and
Health Service.
This
is a Permanent Part Time appointment at 40 hours per
fortnight.
Whilst this
selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy,
applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for
other 'similar' vacancies within EMHS and/or the wider WA public
sector.
In addition to this, should the successful applicant
decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most
suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.
Both of
these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from
when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment
decision.

Profile: Bentley Health Service (BHS)
is a fully accredited public hospital located 10km from the Perth
CBD and forms part of the Royal Perth Bentley Mount Lawley
Group.
BHS provides quality healthcare to the community,
specialising in the delivery of rehabilitation, community child and
adolescent health, mental health care and aged care services.
The
range of services includes specialist outpatient services, Allied
Health, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology and
Urology.
