About the role
As a Remote Area Nurse you will assess patient needs, administer treatments such as wound care, and promote health initiatives.
Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams to ensure protected practices and contribute to quality improvement efforts.

Who are we looking for?
We're looking for RANs who can build strong, trusting relationships with both patients and the community.
To be eligible you must have:
Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
Demonstrated clinical experience in a primary care or similar setting
An understanding of the issues affecting the health and well-being of Aboriginal people in Central Australia including the social determinants of health
Commitment to integrating Aboriginal values in practice
Willingness, ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to, live and work in remote locations
The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and bring exceptional clinical skills, a proactive adaptable attitude, and a genuine respect for diverse patient backgrounds
Hold a current Manual NT license and ability or willingness to learn to safely drive a large 4WD vehicle
