is looking for an experienced
Senior Operations Manager
to lead operations, business development, and delivery a multibillion-dollar infrastructure program in North Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the pavements and asphalt market.
Build strong relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders.
Lead the planning and delivery strategy for secured work.
Oversee the Gladstone production operation, including production, estimating, and project engineering functions.
Coordinate Project Managers, Project Engineers, and operational resources to deliver projects successfully.
Drive robust commercial, safety, quality, and operational outcomes.
Maintain a strong presence across the Queensland coast, traveling as required to meet with clients and operational teams.
About You
Senior operational management experience within civil construction, asphalt, pavements, or road infrastructure.
Proven track record in business development and securing new work.
Strong commercial, project, and financial management skills.




Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management capabilities.
Experienced in leading teams and coordinating resources across multiple business units.
Strategic, commercially focused, and hands-on approach to operations.
Willingness to travel across Queensland.
Benefits
Salary: $180k–$190k base + super + vehicle, negotiable depending on experience.
Can be based in Sunshine Coast, Gladstone, or Mackay.
Senior leadership role with significant responsibility for business growth and operational delivery.
