**About us**
TV Jets Basketball Club is a community basketball club based in Darwin, NT, running junior and senior teams across the season.
The club has been operating for over 70 years, making it one of Darwin's oldest and most successful basketball clubs.
TV Jets is run entirely by an elected volunteer committee.
As Treasurer, you'd be helping keep the club financially sound so it can keep offering local kids and families the chance to play, train, and compete — something that's only possible because volunteers take on roles like this one.
**The role**
We're looking for a Treasurer to manage the club's day-to-day finances using MYOB.
This is a volunteer, unpaid committee position, for a 12-month term reviewable at the AGM.
This role involves:
- Maintaining the club's MYOB file (bank feeds, coding, reconciliations)
- Paying invoices and processing reimbursements for coaches and volunteers
- Providing a monthly financial update to the committee
- Preparing the annual budget and the financial report for the AGM
- Attending committee meetings (approx. monthly, in person or online)
**What we're looking for**
- Comfortable using MYOB, or a similar accounting package (Xero, QuickBooks) with willingness to learn ours
- Reliable and organised




- No basketball or sporting background required
