About This Opportunity
We're seeking an organised and proactive Medical Imaging Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they walk through the door.
You'll deliver efficient, professional reception services both in-person and over the phone, providing friendly, caring support to patients, referrers and all other stakeholders.
This is a multi-tasking, fast-paced, team-player role, committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing a welcoming and qualified first impression for all patients
Managing patient bookings and enquiries in person and via phone/email
Accurate data entry and maintenance of patient's records
Processing Medicare claims,



billing and patient payment transactions
Liaising with GP's, Specialists and third parties to obtain and follow up medical information
Working collaboratively with our team of radiographers, sonographers and administration staff ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Providing a high standard of customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
About You
Experience in a similar environment, such as a health service or radiology, is highly regarded but not essential
A high level of customer and patient service
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised, with the ability to multitask
High attention to detail
Strong computer skills
A positive attitude and professional presentation
Willingness to learn
Availability to work flexible hours between 7am–6pm, Monday to Friday
