The Role:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this position plays a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our group.
Working across all our venues, from our HQ in Cottesloe, you will work within our finance team on day-to-day bookkeeping and high-level reporting, while ensuring everything from payroll to P&Ls; are accurate and on point.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Manage accounts/transactions for multiple venues/entities
Bank Reconciliations/Cash flow management
Accounts Payable & Receivable, including data entry & invoicing
BAS and PAYG reporting preparation
Process payroll during leave
Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements and compliance.
Maintain general ledger by transferring inter entity account transactions
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information and trends.
Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements with support of external accountants
What We're Looking For:
5+ years' experience in bookkeeping in Australia (hospitality or retail experience will be highly regarded)
Strong knowledge of payroll, BAS, PAYG, superannuation, and reconciliations
System-savvy and comfortable working with accounting software and hospitality platforms (e.g. Xero, Excel, Restoke, Deputy, OrderMate)
Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
A proactive mindset — you can spot an error, fix it, and improve the process along the way
Comfortable working closely with leadership and presenting financial insights clearly
Open to working in a diverse and engaging environment - this isn't your everyday office role

Permanent Part-Time role - Monday to Friday - ****** hours per week (discretional) with the option for Full Time
