About the role: Aurizon's Callemondah depot is seeking expressions of interest from safety focused individuals who would like undertake training to become a locomotive driver.
To excel in this position you will relish to opportunity to learn new skills and put into practice what you are taught in the classroom to become a professional train operator.
24x7 rotating shift roster 365 days a year including nights, weekends and public holidaysApply theoretical knowledge from training to practical operationWork in accordance with Aurizon's safety and operational standards and proceduresUndertake Locomotive driver training and successfully complete modules
About you: You are reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety and a willingness to train to become a professional train driver with Aurizon.
All-encompassing focus on safety along with great interpersonal skillsSuperior team work skills Must be available to work 24/7 shift roster which incorporates Current unrestricted Class C drivers licenceBe available to commence early **** and not have any prior commitments for the first 9 months of the training program.
Be available to be away from home for training for extended periods.
