The Department for
Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people
and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public
transport networks across the State, and builds and maintains the
state-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential
and important government services to our community.
Procurement Services
Directorate is a key part of the Commercial and Contract Management
division, responsible for delivering end-to-end procurement
services and strategic procurement support to enable the successful
delivery of the Department's transport infrastructure
projects.
The Procurement Officer
manages end-to-end construction procurement activities, providing
expert advice and fostering strong stakeholder relationships to
deliver compliant, value-for-money outcomes.
We are seeking a
proactive and collaborative professional with well-developed
procurement, communication and problem-solving skills, who can work
independently, exercise sound judgement and effectively manage
competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Educational
Qualifications /Licences
Any qualification in
procurement, engineering or construction management will be
highly regarded
Special
Conditions
A National Police
Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department
for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every
three years.




Some out of hours and
weekend work may be required.
Remuneration
ASO5
- $92,122 to $102,456 pa + superannuation.
