About the role
As our Agricultural Science Officer (Poultry Production & Welfare), you will play a key role in improving poultry production, animal welfare and sustainability outcomes across our operations.
Working closely with farm managers, veterinarians and technical specialists, you will analyse flock performance, contribute to research projects, investigate production trends and help drive continuous improvement initiatives that support the success of our business.
Key responsibilities
Monitor flock performance including egg production, egg quality, mortality, feed and water consumption.
Analyse production data and identify opportunities to improve performance and welfare outcomes.
Investigate production issues and assist with root cause analysis.
Prepare technical reports and performance summaries.
Participate in research and development projects and on-farm trials.
Collect, validate and analyse research and production data.
Conduct flock health, welfare and environmental assessments.
Support biosecurity, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will hold a Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Agricultural Science, Animal Science, Poultry Science, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Technology, Livestock Production, or a related agricultural or animal production discipline.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.




High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Ability to work within poultry sheds and farming environments.
Ability to walk sheds for extended periods.
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions.
Recent graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
