are seeking an
experienced Parts Interpreter
to join our team in a full-time position.
Reporting to the Parts Manager, this role will suit a motivated and customer-focused Parts Interpreter with strong parts knowledge, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a busy dealership environment.
Key responsibilities
Establish, develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal staff.
Identify and understand customer parts requirements and provide suitable solutions.
Provide accurate parts information, advice and support to customers.
Prepare parts quotations, process orders and contribute to achieving sales targets.
Identify opportunities to grow parts sales and develop new and existing customer relationships.
Assist with parts merchandising and maintaining attractive, well-organised displays.
Participate in stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records.
Assist with the timely resolution of customer queries, problems and complaints.
Work as part of the wider dealership team to support efficient parts and service operations.
Participate in seasonal Saturday and on-call rosters as required.
About you
Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, preferably within the agricultural, automotive, earthmoving, heavy equipment or related industry
Ability to work seasonal Saturdays and outside normal hours during peak seasons
A supportive team player with a can-do attitude
Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technology
Proven ability to build professional relationships with clients and seek recent parts sales opportunities
Valuable problem-solving skills and ability to multitask and prioritise
Ability to interpret a technical diagram
