Oriem is a fast-growing company in the concrete steel reinforcement industry, supplying builders, developers, and concreters.We're looking for a Transport Coordinator to join our team and grow with our business at our St Marys office.Working in a team environment, the successful applicant will report to the Warehouse Manager.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role responsible for coordinating deliveries between our branches, suppliers, and customers, ideal for someone who is organised, calm under pressure, and a strong communicator.Location: St MarysHours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pmKey Responsibilities:Planning and scheduling daily deliveries across multiple branchesLiaising with drivers, customers, and suppliers to coordinate pickups and deliveriesManaging delivery schedules to ensure on-time, efficient serviceProblem-solving delivery delays, route changes, and last-minute job requestsMaintaining accurate records of deliveries, dockets,



and vehicle allocationsAssisting with incoming phone calls and general office overflow dutiesData entry and ad-hoc duties as requestedExperience in transport, logistics, or dispatch coordination essentialGood telephone manner and strong people skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office; must be competent in ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skillsAbility to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a quick-paced environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completionKnowledge of the Sydney metro road network is highly regardedIf you're interested in this opportunity and can demonstrate the above qualities, we want to hear from you!
