Knox Private Hospital is looking to employ Environmental Services Assistants to join our established team on a casual basis. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and an interest to achieve high standards of customer satisfaction.

As an Environmental Services Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Provide high standard of cleaning services

Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures

Deliver excellent customer service to patients, clients and staff

Supporting the kitchen with catering tasks as required

Located in Wantirna, Knox Private Hospital is a 295 bed, fully accredited tertiary facility providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, 20 bed ICU/CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.

Our theatre complex has recently grown to 15 theatres including a Day Procedure Centre, Hybrid Theatre and supports a range of acute specialties including General, Endoscopy, Colorectal, Bariatric & Liver surgery, advanced laparoscopic procedures, Cardiac, Neuro, Orthopaedic, Plastic & Reconstructive surgery, Gynaecology, Urology, Vascular, ENT & Paediatric surgery.

Essential Criteria:

Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster

Attention to detail





Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team setting

Skills and motivation to ensure excellence in customer service

The ability to complete tasks within a measurable timeframe

The ability to work in a diverse physically challenging position/workload
