Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking Food Services Assistant to join our hospitality team on a casual basis. In this fast paced and varied workplace you will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
You will assist in effectively serving our patient, doctor, and staff meals with particular attention to patient dietary needs, & assist with function catering at a consistently high standard and within HACCP guidelines.

As a Food Service Assistant your responsibilities will include:
Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required.
Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture.
Provide high standard of customer service
Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures
Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
Essential Criteria:
Authority to Work in Australia
Working with Children check
1-2 years’ hospitality experience
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
Excellent time management skills
Commitment to service excellence.
Strong communication and customer skills
Attention to detail
Work well independently and within a team
Available for on call shifts
Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience in a hospital hospitality setting
Food Handler Certificate or Certificate III in Hospitality
