About the role

- Permanent casual position
- 24 hours per week (3 days), or as agreed
- Melbourne CBD, close to public transport

We are looking for a Japanese-speaking receptionist to join our team at Paramount Medical Clinic. We are a comfortable and modern private practice conveniently located in the heart of Melbourne CBD. Our internationally experienced doctors, nurses and allied health professionals provide a range of comprehensive, personalized and friendly care to all patients, while catering to the needs of both local patients and international travellers and students. The clinic operates Monday to Friday – no weekends or after hours.

This position will report to the clinic director and will be responsible for receptionist duties , including, but not limited to:

- Greeting clients




- Responding to telephone calls and emails
- Maintaining records, including checking accounts and recalls
- Invoicing
- Interpreting for Japanese-speaking patients as needed

Successful applicants must have:

- Relevant previous reception and/or customer service experience
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in speaking English and Japanese (reading and writing)

Experience and proficiency with Best Practice Management Software is desirable.
