We are seeking a passionate, permanent, part-time Medical Receptionist/ Administrator to join our dynamic team at the BRAND NEW North Shore Health Hub in St Leonards, Sydney. If it is only part-time work you are looking for, please still do reach out as we could be adaptable to work around you.

What you’ll do:

Acting as the first point of contact and greeting patients on arrival

Making and managing patient appointments for numerous Specialists across multiple sites

Collecting patient information, maintaining patient privacy and accurate data entry

Completing administration including document scanning

Managing a large volume of patient telephone enquiries

Billing and receipting of accounts to patients, Medicare and DVA

Liaising with Specialists, Nurses, Physiologists and peers

Completing tasks as allocated by Practice Manager and or Site Leader

Who you are:

Exceptional phone manner,



excellent time management skills and the ability to multi task

Ability to work autonomously and complete work within tight time frames

Superior customer service and exceptional communication skills with the ability to work as an effective team member with flexibility to respond to fluctuating work flows

Positive, enthusiastic and a genuine love of working in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism

Demonstrated understanding of medical terminology and familiarity with medical software applications

Proficient computer skills

Flexibility to cover shifts across sites

Healthcare experience preferred
