The Position

Our client is an international Chartered Accountant (CA) award-winning firm specialising in providing diversified client-focused services.

Due to increased business, t heir Brisbane office has a vacancy for a Senior Accountant in their Business Services division.

Working directly with the Partners and a team of senior accounting professionals you will be responsible for a varied portfolio of interesting clients including listed companies and a variety of private companies.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

No two days will be the same!!!

- Complete assigned private business advisory accounting work beyond a ‘process compliance’ standard, to meet client needs
- Work on a variety of entities across different industry sectors
- Preparation of Tax Returns, Financial Statements, CGT, BAS, IAS, FBT returns for individuals,



partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSFs
- Provide financial planning, accounting, and tax advice to clients
- Interact and maintain a direct relationship with diverse clients

The Skills and Experience Required

- Have 3 years’ + experience in an accounting practice in Australia
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting
- CA/CPA studies - completed (or near completion)
- Strong tax technical knowledge and accounting skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time and cost management
- Ability to integrate with a team and collaborate effectively
- High level of analytical and problem-solving ability
- Adaptable to engage a wide range of growing clients
- Ability to understand client needs and exhibit high-level client service
