About the Role

Our export supply chain planning team operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with the Supervisor Service Delivery playing a key role in leading the coordination and delivery of Pacific National services, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently and on time. This role is responsible for a 36-hour time horizon working within the Operations and Network Control team.

As the Supervisor Service Delivery, you will be expected to manage a team, providing leadership and support in a collaborative and inclusive manner.

This role has a strong emphasis on implementing business improvements, cultural change, safe working improvement, customer engagement and ensuring productive workplace practices.

In addition, the Supervisor Service Delivery responsibilities include:

- Inspiring and leading a team of safety-focused people by supervising, coordinating, and managing operational resources.
- Ensuring compliance with the relevant network access regulations and policy standards
- Developing and maintaining the knowledge, skills and attributes required of your team with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and safety.
- Commitment to efficient service delivery, cost reduction and increased utilisation of assets and labour




- Commitment to providing world's best customer service; building excellent relationships with all customers (internal and external) and identifying and developing improved business solutions for our customers.
- Development of team capability to ensure improvement opportunities are delivered.

About You

You will have exposure working within a fast pace, dynamic environment ideally within logistics, emergency services or network operations. You will have well-honed skills in critical thinking with the ability to review, analyse and implement service plans. An agile mindset is required allowing you to quickly change scope and work through recovery scenarios. You will have experience leading successful teams and enjoy mentoring and developing your team.

In addition, you will have:

- A robust safety background
- Proven strengths in problem solving and analytical ability
- Experience in building and developing a multi-faceted team with a key focus on driving a strong safety culture
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- The ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes
- Background in operations control, rail, transport, or logistics will be advantageous
