About the role

Reporting into the Creative Lead within the wider Marketing and Brand team, the role of Graphic Designer is responsible for developing original and distinctive visual content in-line with the Club’s brand, marketing and communications objectives that seek to engage, inspire and connect our audiences. This entry level role is an incredible opportunity to dive into the fast-paced world of sport while leaving your mark on one of most exciting brands in the AFL.

This role is also responsible for:

- Assisting the Creative Lead and Senior Designer in designing a variety of engaging pieces of collateral for internal and external use across membership, merchandise, digital comms, events, community and corporate partnerships. This includes print and digital applications such as social, website,



corporate brochures, EDM, event collateral, promotional brochures, posters and facility branding.
- Interpreting and executing the Western Bulldogs’ visual brand across all Club departments and touch points, ensuring high levels of brand execution.
- Manage and develop relationships to collaborate internally to ensure visual consistency across all club communication channels.
- Present new design ideas and campaign concepts in line with industry standards and trends.
- Effectively manage delegated workflow and prioritisation in consultation with the Creative Lead and Senior Designer, ensuring all assets are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the quality standards of the Western Bulldogs brand.

Skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

• 1-2 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in sports, media, or an entertainment environment (internships or freelance experience are acceptable).

• Advanced proficiency Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)

• Digital or motion design skills beneficial, but not essential
