Your Impact

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Belair, you will use your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation and to extend your network of relationships with children, families and educators. You will work in collaboration with your centre leadership team. The role is dual, time floating across the service working within the rooms and time in the office.

You will establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre’s local community.

About Goodstart Belair





Goodstart Early Learning Belair is a 94-place centre, Belair opened in 2020 after being in the area for more than 20 years. The newly constructed centre features six separate, naturally inspired learning spaces, each with direct access to the landscaped designed outdoor environment providing children with the opportunity to move freely between the indoor and outdoor.

The beautiful outdoor play was designed around the protected gum trees (where our lovely Koala friends live) and features natural enclosed quiet areas, sensory play and sandpits with water play. The beautiful outdoor dining hub connects the learning spaces to the playground and provides a shaded, outdoor dining space for all children and educators.

They look forward to building and maintaining meaningful and true relationships with all families and children.

You’ll help achieve this by

- Support the centre director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
- Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
- Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the centre director’s absence
- Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
