• Teach engaging and inclusive dance classes to students with disabilities, adapting lessons to suit individual needs.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages students’ creativity, participation, and self-expression.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to ensure the well-being and progress of all students.
• Attend Perform Ability events, performances, and training sessions as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in teaching dance (all styles welcome)
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with disabilities is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, creativity, and a positive attitude.
- Holding a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Occupational Therapy), or currently studying an allied health degree is a bonus.
- Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC), Police Check,
and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
