Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
The Opportunity:
Are you an experienced construction professional with a passion for teaching?
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Trainer/Assessor to join our team and deliver hands-on training in core construction skills. You will be integral to our Certificate II in Civil Construction program, shaping the next generation of construction professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, practical training in core construction areas.
- Use your industry expertise to educate students on plans, drawings, levelling equipment, and industry maths and calculations.
- Foster a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116 or TAE40110 with TAELLN411 and TAEASS502)
- CPC20220 - Cert II in Construction Pathways, and/or
- Certificate II in Civil Construction (RII20720) or certificate III in Civil Construction
About you:
- At least 5 years of demonstrated work experience in the construction industry, or similar
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A positive attitude and enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment.
- Reliable, punctual and the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a dynamic team.
