Holy Trinity Kindergarten, Hampton, is regarded as the “hidden gem” of Hampton. We are a close-knit community kindergarten with a robust focus on the environment. We recently received the 2024 Environmental Award for an organisation from the Bayside City Council and we have received a quality rating exceeding National Standards (NQS) in all areas. Children in our kinder program learn in a relaxed and safe environment which fosters young minds with a combination of structured and spontaneous learning opportunities.

We are seeking a Diploma qualified Kindergarten Educator with a genuine interest and passion in children’s development, to be the third member of our highly skilled and collaborative 4YO team and to provide lunch cover for our 3YO group.

Selection criteria:

- Ability to contribute to the documentation and assist with the implementation of the program for the kindergarten children.
- Strong understanding of VEYLDF/EYLF and National Quality Standards.
- The ability to plan, work and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
- Possess excellent communication, organisational and documentation skills.
- Conscientious and enthusiastic team player.




- Ability to form dynamic relationships with families.
- Competent computer, iPad and technology skills preferred.
- Experience would be an advantage.

This is a part-time ongoing position of 34 to 36 hours per week, commencing in January 2025, comprising:

- Main days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 4YO program – contact and non-contact hours from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
- Monday and Thursday: non-contact hours, plus provision of lunch cover for the 3YO group.

You will be supported by our Educational Leader, educators, staff and a parent Committee of Management.

Successful applicants must have:

Approved Early Childhood Diploma qualification, Working with Children Check, Police Check, First Aid Qualifications, Anaphylaxis Training, Asthma Training, CPR Training, Child Protection Training.
