New Position

Moama & District Preschool Centre invites Early Childhood Educators, to apply to join our team in our brand new four room preschool that opened in February this year. The position is to start term in four 2024 and continue with us in term one, 2025.

We are an existing not for profit, community-based preschool, that has been operating and delivering high quality preschool in Moama for 48 years.

We're very excited to continue to be offering high quality preschool education with small class sizes, large playrooms, large playgrounds, and separate age groups to the children of Moama, and District in our purpose built and planned Centre.

We currently employ 19 staff in our four-unit preschool, and will be increasing our staff for 2025 as we are introducing two more preschool groups to our service who will attend for 600 hours per week.

-We are a not for profit Community Based Preschool service which is governed by a Volunteer Committee of Management. (Key practice Stand alone preschool)

-This position is for Mon-Fri, 38 hours per week paid. For term four this will be an extra educator in rooms to support the children. In 2025 the hours will continue on, but may be in different rooms across the Preschool as we are, at present allocating staffing. Our four unit preschool is at capacity for 2025 with one three year old group, three young four groups and four prior to school groups!

Hours for this position are;

Monday -8.15am-3.45pm (7hrs)

Tuesday - 7.45am-4.15pm (8hrs)

Wednesday - 8.15am-3.45pm (7hrs)

Thursday - 8am-4.30pm (8hrs)

Friday - 7.45am-4.15pm (8hrs)

Total 38 hours. Note the service is in Annual shut down during the January School holiday period, this is when existing staff are directed to take their annual leave. For a recent educator four weeks annual leave will not be accumulated.

^*These are negotiable for the right candidate Cert 3 in Early Childhood studies and Diploma in Early Childhood may apply.
