Gunning Early Learning Centre is a 35-place community based, not-for-profit Long Day Care Centre. We have recently been rated Exceeding the National Quality Standards and have a strong focus on quality and community.

Our team of energetic educators promote a strong sense of belonging, a positive team culture, and professional identity offering constant positive support to help each other to grow in their career.

We are seeking a highly motivated, positive and passionate Certificate 3 qualified Early Childhood Educatorto join our team, on a permanent basis five days per week.

Duties & responsibilities

· Support the innovative educational program development involving observation, planning and implementing learning experiences to promote children's development, evaluating, and keeping appropriate records.

· Develop and maintain trusting and reciprocal relationships with children, families and colleagues

· Show excellent team playing qualities, be proactive and set high standards for yourself, team members and centre performance by sharing positive team spirit and behaviours.

Skills & requirements

- Certificate 3 in Education & Care

- A current First Aid and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificate & Current Working with Children check

- Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.

- Ability to work across all shifts as a productive team player.
