Shapes Early Education, a family-owned childcare service, is currently seeking motivated and dynamic Early Childhood Teacher to join our Upper Mount Gravatt Service.

Our ECT's are not just educators; they are the architects of a child's early learning journey. They are responsible for assisting with the design and implementation of curriculum plans that are tailored to each child's individual needs, interests, and developmental stages. Through their guidance, children are exposed to a rich and stimulating educational experience that fosters cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

Skills and experience

Minimum qualifications of a Bachelor in Teaching/Early childhood

Experience in a teachers position, preferably in an early childhood setting

Solid understanding of the NQS, NQF, and the kindergarten guidelines

A working knowledge of developmental programming, planning and observations

Experience with Storypark or similar online tool would be looked upon favorably.

Experience maintaining warm and caring relationships with children and their families

A genuine love and interest in educating, caring for and nurturing young children
