About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Education Consultants to work at the Victoria Police Academy. The Quality Education Unit (QEU) and Education Support Services Unit support learning and development in the People Development Command (PDC) by providing advice and support in the delivery of quality educational products and maintaining the quality and compliance of all PDC education programs including nationally recognised qualifications on the scope of registration of the Victoria Police Registered Training Organisation (4578).

As the successful applicant, you will work as part of a team and in collaboration with subject matter experts to undertake research, design, develop and evaluate educational products, and share your expertise to ensure that all products are educationally robust and meet our quality assurance requirements.

Your duties will include:

- Designing innovative educational products
- Working with Subject Matter Experts including Victoria Police members
- Participating in continuous improvement activities
- Designing surveys to measure the effectiveness of training programs
- Undertaking research such as Job Role Analysis and Training Needs Analysis

As the successful applicant, you will have:

- Sound knowledge and understanding of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector and Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs)



2015 is highly desirable
- Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to engage and build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders
- High level organisation and time management skills.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly desirable)

Requirements and relevant information:

- Two (2) full-time, ongoing positions available, three (3) fixed term positions until 30/6/2024 available.
- These positions are located at Victoria Police Academy, 1 View Mount Road, Glen Waverley .
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
- In accordance with the Acting Chief Health Officer's Direction – COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions, you are required to be fully vaccinated (this includes a booster vaccination) and your employment with Victoria Police is subject to proof of vaccination.
