About the role:
- Mentor planning and implementing of the educational program that reflects our play-based philosophy and values the holistic view of each child's development.
- Guide and develop educators and families’ understandings about play and leisure-based learning
- Support educators to set up engaging environments, whilst creating meaningful relationships with the children and families in your care.
- Assist Educators to plan and implement well-structured, age-appropriate learning goals and teaching programs that engage our children.
- Able to provide strong foundations for children’s learning and development and have an affinity for working with children, engaging with and be responsive to emotional needs of our children
- Working to create a high-quality culture of rich learning environment for the children, families, educators and community
- A working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework
- Ability to transfer your knowledge of early childhood development to a team of Educators
- Be proactive in problem solving and work in collaboration with the Nominated Supervisor to identify areas of change and a continual improvement approach
- An awareness of child protection law and commitment to protecting children from harm and take steps as needed to prevent harm from occurring.
- Provide and maintain a secure and supportive environment for both children and parents, as well as team members that is safe, inclusive and fun.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships and effective communication with families whilst encouraging passion, enthusiasm, and excellence to our team.
About you:
- Minimum Diploma qualified, Bachelor of Early Childhood preferred or actively studying towards
- Blue Card, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, CPR and First Aid certificates, or willingness to obtain.
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework.
- Willingness to embrace the company vision, values, and culture.
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team of early childhood professionals.
- Passion, enthusiasm and ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture for children, families and colleagues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
