Thrive Coniston is located in the suburb of Wollongong and operates 7am - 6pm, Monday to Friday.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to become our Educational Leader.

We are looking for someone with experience in programming and the ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, families and colleagues.

You will be joining a dedicated and supportive team where your ideas, input and voice is not only heard but welcomed and encouraged!

Your main responsibilities will be to:





- Support educators to assess each child’s learning and development in relation to the approved learning framework, other contemporary theories and the Thrive Curriculum
- Support educators to critically reflect on each child’s learning and development and on their own pedagogy as part of everyday practice.
- Reflect on educational pedagogy as part of everyday practice
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all team members
- Maintain effective communication with parents
- Uphold strong work values with a focus on being your best by doing your best

Successful candidate will have:

- Bachelor or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification
- Sound, practical working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) & National Quality Standard (NQS).
- A current NSW Employee Working With Children's Check
