Your Impact

As an Educator at Goodstart Rutherford, you will be a team player, collaborating with the Senior Educators and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and response to the needs of all children.

Our Centre

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Rutherford is located close to Rutherford Public School and the New England Highway – close to local shops and community facilities.

Our service caters for 75 children per day,



we are proud to be an Inclusive service and provide care to families from various cultures and religions. All our Educators are currently qualified or are training for relevant Early Childhood Qualifications.

Inside, all the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.

You’ll help achieve this by

- Maintaining a safe environment for children, families, and team members.
- Complying with the National Quality Standards and Goodstart policy and procedures.
- Using and implementing the Goodstart Practice Guide to support Senior Educators and Teachers in the delivery of high-quality education programs.
- Building and maintain robust, positive relationships with children and their families.
- Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
- Contributing to a professional and positive work culture.

If you have strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, plus hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (ACECQA approved equivalent), then we want to meet you!
