- Capacity to contribute positively to, and lead student engagement in the ethos of Damascus College as a Catholic school in the Mercy tradition;
- Appropriate qualifications, educational experiences and demonstrated understanding and success in implementing contemporary learning and teaching strategies in relevant specialisation(s);




- Capacity to demonstrate exemplary universal classroom practice, learner engagement and student management competencies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the capacity to develop productive and caring relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Demonstrated high-level proficiency in organisational and ICT skills to enact all Learning and Teaching curriculum, assessment and learner administration responsibilities at an expected professional standard
- Commitment to professional development and a willingness to undertake training as required in various settings including collaborative professional practice teams.
