The Purpose:

As the Head of Procurement, you’ll report to our CFO and be responsible for the establishment and development of AP+ Procurement Strategy and the attainment of the projected benefits realization.

We’re open to appointing this role as a Max Term 12-month contract or Permanent position.

Key Responsible of the role will include:





- Establish and lead the Procurement Strategy for AP+
- Define end to end procurement processes for AP+
- Develop and roll out a procurement framework and methodology
- Ensure the AP+ Procurement function supports internal compliance and risk management best practice for procurement
- Set objectives for the AP+ procurement function and ensure appropriate metrics / measures are in place
- Deliver strategic Vendor Management to attain maximum value for the Procurement function and AP+
- Educate and train relevant AP+ stakeholders with regards to the Procurement process
- Work closely with the CEO, CFO and CIO to define the core value of the function and establish processes and key metrics

The skills & knowledge you need to have:

- Completed study in a relevant discipline
- Proven experience as a Senior Procurement Leader with demonstrable experience in the establishment and embedment of a new Procurement function
- Payments & Schemes industry knowledge is desirable
- Experience in process transformation and strategic procurement
- Proven experience with strategic vendor relationship management
- Exquisite communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills
- Proven experience in Category Management
- A curious mindset that see’s you bring a diverse thinking lens to your work
