What you’ll do

Reporting to the Senior Manager Engineering - Platform, you will unify the roles of software development and IT operations to deliver products in production, provide operational assistance and guidance for the Tabcorp technology services and platforms including operational monitoring, disaster recovery, security compliance and auditing.

You will design, develop, and maintain technology platforms that support various software applications and systems. You will develop automated processes and tools for continuous integration, testing, and deployment, delivering robust and scalable infrastructure solutions. You will develop solutions that provide great developer experience and build self-serve patterns to enable speed and efficiency.

you are a cross-functional developer with a focus on automating and always looking at ways of improving the platform and its services. You focus on the stability of the platform, quality of our solutions, elasticity of our infrastructure and resiliency of our services.

What you’ll bring

- Bachelor of Information Technology or Computer Science equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with complex platforms and a track record of continuous delivery of incremental value for digital products in a large-scale environment.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies and public cloud providers. AWS experience is highly desirable.
- Experience working with various programming languages and tools.
- Experience with CICD, infra-as-code tooling and patterns
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting will be beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with a passion for delivering great customer experiences.
