Newcastle Private Hospitalis seeking a part time, experienced Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our established nursing team.

As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:

Provide evidenced based nursing care

Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team

Ensure patient and staff safety

Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care

Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs

Newcastle Private Hospital is a 189 bed, acute, private hospital facility co-located on the John Hunter Campus at Rankin Park. The hospital has 11 theatres including a hybrid theatre and a 15 bed Intensive Care Unit.



It also has a cardiac suite including a cardiac catheter laboratory and a 16 bed Coronary Care Unit. A private maternity suite including 6 birthing suites and a special care baby nursery is available for families in the Newcastle region.

·Basic computer skills

Desired Criteria

Previous expirence in a Maternity environment

If successful, your pay will be based on award 23 - Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses' & Midwives' Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024with an hourly rate ranging between $34.59-$48.58 per hour.
