Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Plan, prepare and deliver a high quality online educational service to students, in collaboration with their home educator.
- Participate in curriculum development.
- Participate in sports, co-curricular activities and workshops.
- Actively support and promote the Christian ethos and core values of Faith Christian School (Distance Education)
Essential Requirements of the Role
- Australian work rights.
- Possess a strong Christian character and support Faith’s Christian values to provide pastoral care.
- Hold current QCT teacher registration.
- Demonstrated experience and teaching qualifications in Secondary Teaching and have the ability and willingness to teach in other areas if required.
- Strong curriculum development skills.
- An understanding of and commitment to student wellbeing.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills and high attention to detail.
- Possess intermediate to advanced technical skills, including experience with educational software and ability in using technology in the learning process.
