Want to make a difference in a vulnerable young person’s life?

Warakirri College is a highly regarded independent school offering Year 10 and HSC courses to young people who have disengaged from mainstream education pathways primarily due to struggles with anxiety or depression and social disadvantage.

We create a flexible and inclusive learning environment with extremely low student-to-staff ratios, small class sizes, and non-ATAR and ATAR study pathways. Each campus has approximately 100 students, facilitating positive relationships between staff and students.

These vacancies are in the Distance Education program located in our purpose-built campus in Watsford Rd, Campbelltown. This program runs mostly online, with live classes and 1:1 support via Zoom. We use the Canvas learning management system and Google Workspace for Education to create our online learning environment. The staff also coordinate a few days onsite each term so that students can attend some face-to-face lessons and receive individual support.

Due to rapid growth in the program, Warakirri College seeks TWO new teachers to start as soon as possible in Term 4. Subject areas are flexible.
