School Services Officer SSO

(28 hours per week)

Suneden is a non-denominational, independent specialist school catering for students with intellectual and physical disabilities aged 5-19.

Suneden is a leader in providing specialist education to student with disabilities. An exciting chance exists for an SSO to join our team of dedicated staff. This position is for 2025 with the possibility of further employment in continuation in 2026. The hours of work are 9am – 3.15pm (school terms only).

Key Duties

- Working in a team of Teachers, SSOs and Allied Health (Speech Pathologist and OT)
- Supporting students in their daily learning.
- Playground supervision
- Assisting in mealtime support
- Assisting in personal care for students
- Assisting in classroom organisation

Essential Skills





- Experience working as an SSO (desirable)
- First Aid Certificate
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Remuneration

Remuneration will be in accordance with our Enterprise Agreement. The level will be determined according to experience.
