An excellent opportunity for an experience Quality Assurance officer to join a large organisation as part of the Risk & Compliance team. This organisation values Integrity, Collaboration & Best practice and they are seeking a confident QA Officer who enjoys working with a broad team to uplift and build best practice across systems and processes and provide the right checks and balances to ensure quality assurance.

As part of the Risk & Compliance Team your primary responsibilities include:

- Ensure current processes align with the Quality Framework and ISO 9000 standards.
- Monitor; Audit and review QA program with a vision for continuous improvement
- Collaborate and take an active role in the uplift of QA reporting and processes, including QA training materials to imbed the framework.
- Ensure QA reporting is fit for purpose & aligns against business objectives
- Execute the operationalisation of the GRCI framework

Your background

- You will likely have a background in QHSE from a large complex organisation with a working knowledge of ISO 9000; with an understanding of QA principals (heavy industry manufacturing; energy; chemical processing plant or similar)




- You will be pragmatic & solutions focussed; with a proven ability to use influencing skills to bring about change and drive positive outcomes.
- Strong communication (verbal & written) with an ability to negotiate the best outcomes that are fit for purpose and align with the framework.
- A demonstrated willingness to take ownership & accountability of deliverables.
- You will have relevant tertiary qualifications and at least 5 years’ experience as a QA Officer

This is a site-based role located in the North Sydney. You will be hands-on & imbedded into the organisation where you will directly be able to impact and value-add. You will enjoy the team-oriented culture of your team & organisation and be confident in your part to contribute.
