The opportunity
We are looking to recruit a Study Manager/ Lead to manage studies for a range of mining and heavy industrial projects. You will have experience delivering studies in heavy industry with exposure to processing, and be pragmatic, able to organise, advise, prioritise and be proactive.

What the role entails

- Oversee the development and execution of studies for projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Work within an established framework for study development, including schedules, cost estimation, resources, and technical specifications.
- Prepare comprehensive project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and data.
- Maintain a consistently high quality of study outputs by planning, coordinating, managing resources, ensuring technical quality, and monitoring study progress.
- Lead the Study team to provide the business with strategic, tactical, and operational support.
- Develop and manage the implementation of and adherence to legal and corporate requirements.




- Establish and maintain strong business partner relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the study processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What You Will Need

- Proven experience in delivering project studies, ideally in the mining industry.
- Solid ability to engage well with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- High degree of self-motivation, with the capability to take the initiative and work independently when required.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as a solid understanding of mining processes and operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving project goals.
