Assistant Accountant role available in Fortitude Valley. High performing finance team!
Your new company
This growing Australian company is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their high performing finance team on a full-time permanent basis. Based in Fortitude Valley, their office is conveniently located close to public transport and to a variety of cafes, shops and restaurants.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting with month end processing including bank, general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing financial reports
- Intercompany accounting
- Cash flow reporting
- Assisting with preparation and lodging monthly BAS statements
- Assisting with budgets
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- Completed Degree and have ideally commenced your CPA or CA studies
- Experience in a similar role within a corporate workplace
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
