Groups by Beyond is looking for an experienced Group Travel Consultant to manage the end-to-end delivery of group tours for travel agents and direct clients around the world.This is a client and operations-focused role for someone who loves the details of putting a great group tour together - from first enquiry and quote, through supplier negotiation, to smooth departure.
You'll be the main point of contact for your clients, ensuring every group trip is well-planned, competitively priced, and delivered without a hitch.You'll report directly to the General Manager and play a key role in the smooth-running of Group by Beyond's group travel program.What You'll Be DoingQuoting & Itinerary ManagementManage the end-to-end quote and booking process for group toursRespond to and manage enquiriesPut together accurate, well-priced itineraries and proposalsClient & Enquiry ManagementTrack, follow up, and manage all leads and enquiries through to confirmed bookingMaintain accurate,



up-to-date client records in the CRMCommunicate with clients primarily via phone and email to secure and manage bookingsDeliver a high standard of service that drives repeat business and referralsBuild and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clientsSupplier & Operational ManagementNegotiate group rates, inventory, specials, and exclusives with suppliersBuild and maintain strong relationships with external partnersFollow agreed sales and operational processes and systemsIndustry & Team ContributionParticipating in internal company meetingsStay across industry trends and competitor activityWork closely with internal teams to deliver seamless client experienceProactively identify and pursue current business opportunitiesWhat We're Looking ForExperience creating and managing group tours, ideally in the Australian/NZ travel industryStrong communication skills and sharp attention to detailA track record in account management and client relationship managementConfident negotiation skills with suppliersSelf-motivated, and engaged with a genuine passion for travel and customer serviceComfortable with Microsoft Office and CRM tools; experience with TourPlan a bonusDestination knowledge in Eastern Europe and/or Scandinavia highly regardedWhy Join Groups by BeyondFlexible working arrangements to support work/life balanceOpportunity to attend industry events and famils to gain knowledge about the destinations you sell
