What your days will look like
No two days will be exactly the same.
Alongside producing high-quality residential construction documentation, you'll work closely with the leadership team, helping improve systems, solve problems and influence how the drafting department evolves as the business grows.
You'll be:
Preparing detailed working drawings and construction documentation for new residential homes
Coordinating consultant information including engineering, surveying and energy assessments
Preparing documentation for building approvals and construction issue
Ensuring plans comply with NCC, R-Codes and company standards
Liaising with internal staff, consultants and suppliers to resolve documentation queries
Improving drafting systems, templates and workflows as the business grows
Helping build an efficient, scalable in-house drafting department
What they're looking for




You'll already have experience working as a Residential Draftsperson within the WA residential construction industry and enjoy producing accurate, high-quality documentation.
You'll also bring:
Strong knowledge of WA residential construction methods, NCC and R-Codes
Experience producing working drawings and construction documentation
Proficiency using ArchiCAD or Revit
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
The confidence to work autonomously while collaborating closely with others
A proactive mindset and the desire to contribute ideas, not just complete drawings
